I have always loved film and animation, it’s something that shows more than just the story told, but allows insight into the mind of the writer, the vision of the directors, the eyes of the camera operatives and the dedication of the crew. Ever since I was a kid I would get lost in films, wondering how it was done, and how I could be part of such a magical experience.

My career has taken me on many unexpected paths, but the one that first allowed me to bring my hobbies and passion into my job was my role as a Training Specialist for one of the largest energy companies in the UK and Europe.
How does a small team of learning and development experts deliver training to multiples of thousands of staff, all over Europe, from varying backgrounds, different accessibility needs and abilities?

The answer for me was video. Relatable, translatable, the ability to stop and start when you need. It was perfect.

10 years later took me to another company, specialising in people and business enablement. This allowed me to work with some of the worlds very largest tech companies, from some amazing locations, studios and sets, bringing my own flavour of cinematography, editing, direction and learning insight to their brand styles. Videos seen by hundreds of thousands of people, helping people learn, laugh and engage with their colleagues and peers.

Alongside this I have continued to take on private work, to keep my brain ticking, from animations, to interviews, music videos, documentaries, live streams and more. The odder the brief, the better.
